East European Performing Arts Platform announces open call for Residency Programme.

East European Performing Arts Platform is announcing an Open Call to apply for the Second Residence / Internship Programme – 2013.

Festival Theatre Confrontations is a partner in the Residency Programme - we hope that many of you will find it interesting and you will see it as an opportunity from which you may benefit.

Please share the information about the Programme with people around you who you think may be willing to apply and take advantage of all the possibilities and openings that the Programme is bringing – your partners, people cooperating with your institutions or working with you on shared projects, young managers and students, people interested in international cooperation and networking and all the fields of performing arts.

This year EEPAP offers 11 residencies / internships which will take place during the autumn / winter of 2013 in institutions and festivals in Poland, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Romania.

The programme is addressed at curators, programme managers and producers from the performing arts festivals as well as, independent performing arts institutions in Eastern Partnership Countries, as well as critics dealing with contemporary theatre and dance set designers.

- Each residence/internship will start a week, or several days before this year edition of the host festival and continue during the whole festival programme.

- Curator, critic, manager or producer is supposed to participate in the final festival preparations as well as different organization activities during the festival. Some of the festivals might suggest a work with the dramaturgical coverage of the programme (writing and editing of the reports and essays regarding performances and events).

- Residence MESS – 1 is designed as a workshop for theatre professionals dealing with the set design and visual aspects of the performing arts productions.

- Successful applicants will be provided with free accommodation, flight ticket and stipend to cover living expenses.

- Proficiency in English and one more language than native is presupposed.   Dialog-1 Residence, Wroclaw, Poland apart from the proficiency in English requires some basic knowledge of Polish. Working language of MESS Festival Workshop is English.

- There is no age limit.

  • Short, clear motivation letter
  • Short summary of previous work experience (up to 2 pages)
  • CV (max one page)
  • Filled application form

The selection will be made by a committee. The committee is formed by the members of the EEPAP Network and the collaborator organization.
